Lusaka Arbitration Week 2026 brought together practitioners, policymakers, and young professionals from across Africa for three days of substantive ADR dialogue at the InterContinental Hotel Lusaka.

The week's defining moment came on Day 1 with the official handover of the ADR Bill by the Zambia Law Development Commission — a milestone years in the making. Panels across the three days covered dispute boards, copper and energy infrastructure, tax, digital regulation, AI in arbitration, and the integrity of arbitral processes in Sub-Saharan Africa.

The week closed with a fireside chat between the AFSA and LIAC Court Presidents, a signing ceremony, and the LAW 2026 Gala Dinner and ADR Awards.
